Delete your BenchPing account
BenchPing workshop owners can delete their account and operational workshop records from the Android app or web application.
Delete from your account
- Sign in to BenchPing and open Workshop.
- Choose Delete account.
- Review the deletion and billing information, enter your password and workshop name, then confirm.
This is permanent. Save any records you need before confirming. The deletion flow settles applicable subscription and unused paid SMS-credit refunds before removing the account. If billing cannot be settled, contact support for assistance.
Request deletion without the app
Email [email protected] from your registered email address with the subject “BenchPing account deletion request” and your workshop name. We may need to verify account ownership. Do not send your password or payment-card details.
Delete specific data without deleting your account
You do not need to delete your BenchPing account to request deletion of specific data.
- Workshop owners can remove an individual job photo or video from the repair's Photos & videos section.
- For other specific records, email [email protected] from your registered email address with the subject “BenchPing data deletion request.” Identify the workshop, repair reference and categories of data you want removed. Do not send your password or payment-card details.
- If you are a workshop customer, contact the workshop first about its records. You can also email BenchPing support with the workshop name, repair reference and the email address used for the repair. We may need to verify the request before acting.
Deleting specific data does not close the workshop account. Records that must be retained for billing, fraud prevention, legal obligations, backups or previously delivered communications may remain for the applicable retention period; support will explain any exception that applies to the request.
What is removed and what may remain
Account deletion removes operational workshop records, including jobs, customer records, messages and uploaded job media. It does not delete the original Google Sheet or Excel file you imported.
Backups, payment-provider records, previously delivered emails and information retained for applicable obligations are not necessarily erased immediately. Ask support about retained information and the retention period applicable to your request.
